Bring Suicide Prevention Training to Your Community
STOPS offers customized suicide prevention presentations tailored to your organization, school, workplace, or group — wherever your people are.
What We Offer
STOPS provides free, community-centered suicide prevention presentations for groups of all kinds — faith communities, schools, businesses, law enforcement, healthcare teams, and more. Every presentation is built around your group's specific needs, setting, and audience. Our trainers don't arrive with a one-size-fits-all curriculum. We listen first, then deliver content that makes sense for the people in the room.
Topics we cover:
- Recognizing warning signs of suicide
- How to have a direct, caring conversation with someone you're concerned about
- What to do in a crisis and how to connect someone to help
- Self-care and support for those who work with at-risk populations
- Postvention — supporting a community after a suicide loss
Who We Work With
- Schools and universities
- Workplaces and businesses
- Faith communities and churches
- Healthcare and mental health providers
- Law enforcement and first responders
- Community organizations and nonprofits
- Youth programs and sports teams
There is no group too small. If you have five people who want to be better equipped to help someone in crisis, we want to be there.
